Savannah Newcomers Club
Lindy has been fortunate to find a wonderful ladies networking group in the Savannah area especially for recent arrivals to the city. The organization has been around for decades and is continually rejuvenated by the people moving into Savannah from across the nation. With about 350 members, the group is a great way for women to plug-in to the community quickly and find others with similar interests. Saturday evening, the Fairways was pleased to host members of the club and their husbands for the bi-monthly TGIF mixer (or in this case it was a TGIS). It was a fabulous evening to meet other recent arrivals and to meet people who have settled throughout the Savannah area. Members attended from the west side of Savannah all the way to Skidaway Island. Many of the attendees toured our townhomes to get a sense of our maintenance free condominium style living and some even wished they had found us before they purchased. Hopefully we can host the club members for other events in the future.
