Doesn’t this nice weather just call you to your patio.  I feel so sorry for those poor people up north that are a few months away from good weather.  The patios on our Townhomes offer a relaxing way to enjoy the outdoors while still getting a sense of home.  The décor you choose for the patio is just as important as that of the interior of your Townhome.  As we all know, most people sit on their patio so comfortable seating is a must.  Whether it’s just you or when you are entertaining guests, it’s important to have the right type of seating.  Some examples of popular types of outdoor furniture are wicker, authentic wood or even iron seating.  These styles must come with cushions for extra comfort.  Create a miniature garden on your patio.  You can purchase potted plants or tropical plants to create a lovely mood, but you must have lots of color.  Adding bird feeders, bird baths or water features around the yard all create the special setting. I just returned from Lowe’s and Home Depot with annuals in hand and bird seed for my feeders. The patio set is ready for action as Spring is in the air. Let’s go shopping!

Lindy has been fortunate to find a wonderful ladies networking group in the Savannah area especially for recent arrivals to the city. The organization has been around for decades and is continually rejuvenated by the people moving into Savannah from across the nation. With about 350 members, the group is a great way for women to plug-in to the community quickly and find others with similar interests. Saturday evening, the Fairways was pleased to host members of the club and their husbands for the bi-monthly TGIF mixer (or in this case it was a TGIS). It was a fabulous evening to meet other recent arrivals and to meet people who have settled throughout the Savannah area. Members attended from the west side of Savannah all the way to Skidaway Island. Many of the attendees toured our townhomes to get a sense of our maintenance free condominium style living and some even wished they had found us before they purchased. Hopefully we can host the club members for other events in the future.
